I was unsure how this story line would play out, the untold true story of the witches from Oz. I was amazed at the storyline. The costumes were beautiful and the acting was great but the best part was that the two witches had phenomenal voices. This was an excellent 2 1/2 hours of entertainment.

I just visited New York City for the first time and watching a musical at Broadway was always on my to-do list. My friends recommended Wicked or Matilda because I have 2 young daughters. So I picked Wicked. 1. Booking I recommend purchasing tickets online if you are a tourist like me. I bought the tickets 3 months before and self-printed the tickets which had barcodes for entry. 2. Location Gershwin Theatre is in the heart of Broadway. It is near Times Square and has many eateries. 3. Seats Tickets have assigned seats so you do not need to arrive too early. However, there are photo spots inside the theatre, like the clock exhibit before the admission point, the hall of fame and the stage. So you may want to spend some time snapping photos. We bought seats a few rows in front of the stage so that we could clearly see the facial expressions of the leads. 4. Show It was awesome. I would not elaborate on the story so as not to spoil the plot for those who have yet to watch. The performance of the lead actresses and actors were impeccable. Kara Lindsay was legendary in her role as Glinda. Expect 2.5 hours of a fabulous family outing! My daughters, wife and I loved the musical so much. It was time and money well spent. I will watch it again if the musical comes to Singapore.

I saw "wicked" as a birthday present to myself; it was the third time, once before in New York City and once in Las Vegas. The swinging, sets, even the story, entranced me once again.
