"The best feature in NYC!"
March, 2016
My husband and I attended this broadway the first week of March 2016. We were a little skeptical as our favorite version of the show is the 25th anniversary show at the Royal Albert Hall. We were NOT disappointed with this broadwAy production in NYC. It was everything we expected and more and loved every minute of it. We purchased our tickets through Reserve NYC and got 2nd row seats for discounted prices!

The Phantom of the Opera is my all time favorite play and to have an opportunity to see it center stage just a couple of rolls back in New York City on Broadway is an experience like no other and I will remember this always. Couldn't have gotten this great seat if it hadn't been for reserve new york.

I attended the matinee yesterday and was absolutely moved by this performance. It was an true delight and I would love to see it again. I do not like opera music and wasn't sure if I would like this show, but I ended up loving it! The costumes, sets and overall attention to detail made the show mesmerizing. One tip- I sat in the rear orchestra and could not get a view of some elements of the show. This was not something disclosed during my ticket purchase. Do not be afraid to sit in the mezzanine.

Our family revisited the theater in September, after reminiscing about our great experience here 8 years ago. However, we were hugely disappointed... I don't know if the actors were not in a great condition, but they couldn't properly sing at the time of my visit...Christine was especially underwhelming. What a shame...

"Beautiful play"

I have seen in my time many broadway shows. The Phantom of the Opera, an adaptation from an early XX century French novel, which had been previously adapted to movies, is indeed the best. Andrew Lloyd Weber is at his highest point in this beautiful musical, with amazing singing, beautiful casting, and a powerful story that deserves every format it can get. The primadonna, as well as the understudy, sang with grace and power. The Phantom and the suitor took care of their songs, enchanting the audience. The best songs on broadway, by a wide margin.
