"The best feature in NYC!"
March, 2016
My husband and I attended this broadway the first week of March 2016. We were a little skeptical as our favorite version of the show is the 25th anniversary show at the Royal Albert Hall. We were NOT disappointed with this broadwAy production in NYC. It was everything we expected and more and loved every minute of it. We purchased our tickets through Reserve NYC and got 2nd row seats for discounted prices!

The Phantom of the Opera is my all time favorite play and to have an opportunity to see it center stage just a couple of rolls back in New York City on Broadway is an experience like no other and I will remember this always. Couldn't have gotten this great seat if it hadn't been for reserve new york.

This show was nothing short of amazing! We sat first row and to the right, and we were initially nervous because of potential obstruction. However, that was not an issue, and it was so cool to be 5 feet from the actors -- all of whom did an amazing job. Thank you for a memorable experience!

"Our 5 star favorite needed better talent this time"

Maybe we've seen it too many times, but the vocals seem to lack something this time including range. The phantom had strength in volume, but weak in the high notes that are important for his character to express his love to Christine faltered more than once. Some of the other characters lacked clarity. Still one of our favorite Broadway musicals.

I saw Phantom of the Opera for the first time and I can see why this show is called "a classic." The music is amazing, the acting is superb and the effects make you jump out of your seat (literally). I would definitely recommend this show to anyone who either loves going to shows or to anyone taking a trip to NYC.

"Timeless Classic - Reasonable Broadway Prices"

During my first trip to NYC with my girlfriend we decided to see the timeless classic The Phantom of the Opera. We were in the city for a wedding so we had time to plan ahead. We purchased our tickets 3 months ahead of time and boy was that an amazing decision! We sat center lower orchestra Row C. We were so close to the actors and action! We spend around $140 per ticket and it was worth every penny. This was my first Broadway musical and I couldn't have asked for a better show. The show draws you in emotionally and the performers were incredible. When the show started there were some people in front of us from another country using an iPad which was lighting up the area. Within 1-2 minutes they were asked to turn it off. Some people can be so rude, don't be afraid to tell them to put it away yourself. You don't want to miss any of the show or ruin your experience!

Maybe because it was the fact that I watched this broadway classic in New York, that I had chills and goosebumps when the chandelier was being raised to the ceiling, or maybe because it was really good. All the actors were great and the actors who played the Phantom and Christine were both spectacular in their performance.
