"Amazing Show.."

We had great seats. The performance was great. The costumes, the set, and the music were all amazing. This show is great for all ages. The play is very similar to The Lion King cartoon with some adjustments to keep it current.

"Amazing Performance"

This is highly recommended for all ages. The costumes in the show are so creative and each actors character seems to fit their personality. The Lion King cartoon and this play are very similar, but it's still a tear jerker when Mufasa dies... The theater check-in was really easy with Reserve Direct E-ticket. The ushers are very helpful with getting you to your seats. One person in our group left their phone after the show and the theater had it waiting for us to pick-up the next day.

If you haven’t heard anything about this show, the costumes will blow you away. You’d never imagine how creative the costume designers must be to have not only dreamed up these visionary creations, but also made them a reality. The story is just as you’ve seen in the movie or at Disney so no surprises there. However the narrator in the Broadway show is awesome, in addition to being well dressed. I’d recommend an aisle seat if possible. It’s one of those shows where characters do enter/leave stage in the aisles so you get a close up view when they pass. The Lion King has been on Broadway now for over 20 years and will delight and entertain the whole family. If you’re a fan of Disney, this performance won’t disappoint!

This was our first trip there NY and first Broadway experience. Before leaving, we had given our two daughters, 11 & 15, several choices including Frozen, School of Rock and Mean Girls. They picked The Lion King! The costuming and puppetry were incredible, singing and acting great! Three out of the four of us really enjoyed it...my husband, not so much. He said it just wasn’t he expected...was looking for more animal like characters vs people. The girls and I wholeheartedly disagree and highly recommend it if you are a Lion King fan! Love the music by Elton John too!!

My wife has wanted me to take her to see the Lion King for years, but it never has played where we've lived at the time. So when we had the opportunity to see it prior to boarding a cruise ship we went for it. This show is spectacular and moving. We went on a photo safari last year and so the Lion King actually meant a lot more to us now. The visuals are spectacular and the music is wonderful. If you go on Wednesday afternoon's show, know that the audience will be made up of many excited and noisy children. Great facility too.
