"Amazing Show.."

We had great seats. The performance was great. The costumes, the set, and the music were all amazing. This show is great for all ages. The play is very similar to The Lion King cartoon with some adjustments to keep it current.

"Amazing Performance"

This is highly recommended for all ages. The costumes in the show are so creative and each actors character seems to fit their personality. The Lion King cartoon and this play are very similar, but it's still a tear jerker when Mufasa dies... The theater check-in was really easy with Reserve Direct E-ticket. The ushers are very helpful with getting you to your seats. One person in our group left their phone after the show and the theater had it waiting for us to pick-up the next day.

Booked not knowing exactly where we would be sitting. We were in the centre section of the front row!!! My mum was so excited the animals touched us several times. Had a fantastic night and will always remember having front row at a Broadway show.

We have been to many shows...someone took us a while to get to The Lion King ...and tickets always seemed expensive no matter when we looked...well now I know why - Just the 1st 5 minutes was enough to justify the pricing....the show is incredible.....the 4 12 year olds I took were leaning forward the whole time....the show is spectacular....music, costumes, set, and the voices..... GO SEE IT!

I went to see the Lion King with my 13 year old son, who was not sure if he wanted to see a play bc he thought it would be boring. It was the highlight of his trip. There are a large number of broadway plays to choose from, but there is a reason why the Lion King is a long running hit on broadway (this was my second time seeing this play). It is a classic Disney play. Great costumes, great acting and music. It is a great play that will appeal to the entire family.

Beautiful performance and costuming. The lighting and set design is so creative, it blends with the music and actors so well. We had excellent center seating, but I imagine every seat is good for this shoe. We enjoyed Rafiki cocktails in lion king cups, took in the Minskoff theater, and would recommend to adults and families! It's definitely not a copy of the Disney movie, much more traditional theater and nod to African culture and theme. Lovely.

"Great artist design but definitely for Disney lovers "

Super excited for the show had heard so many outstanding reviews. The artistic content to turn people into animals was amazing but the story was a little kitschy and lots of references to other Disney stories. Great for kids but I wouldn't recommend it to adults unless your a big Disney lover!

"Heartwarming Broadway musical by Disney"

Attended the Saturday matinee showing of the Lion King by Disney on Broadway in NYC. I had seen the show in Toronto many years ago and we decided to take our 12 year old daughter to see it on her first trip to the city. We arrived about 45 minutes early and there was already a long line to get in. They are a well oiled machine and were able to get everyone into the theatre quickly and efficiently. We were able to find our seats with no problem. The show was spectacular. This is not something you can do on a budget - seats were very expensive. Restrooms and concessions were nearby and seats were very comfortable. I thought the Toronto show (which I assume was a traveling company) had better performers. This was an amazing experience - goosebumps all over during the opening number. You cannot help but feel many emotions during this show. Great costumes and performances by all involved. For Broadway, I was expecting a little bit more - it was missing something to put it over the edge to get to a 5 rating. The theatre is on the small side (smaller than Shea's in Buffalo where we are from).
