"Amazing Show.."
May, 2016
We had great seats. The performance was great. The costumes, the set, and the music were all amazing. This show is great for all ages. The play is very similar to The Lion King cartoon with some adjustments to keep it current.
Tip: Arrive early to pick up your tickets.

"Amazing Performance"
April, 2016
This is highly recommended for all ages. The costumes in the show are so creative and each actors character seems to fit their personality. The Lion King cartoon and this play are very similar, but it's still a tear jerker when Mufasa dies... The theater check-in was really easy with Reserve Direct E-ticket. The ushers are very helpful with getting you to your seats. One person in our group left their phone after the show and the theater had it waiting for us to pick-up the next day.
Tip: Pick-up your tickets anytime the day of the show to save a few minutes when you arrive for the show.

Booked not knowing exactly where we would be sitting. We were in the centre section of the front row!!! My mum was so excited the animals touched us several times. Had a fantastic night and will always remember having front row at a Broadway show.
Tip: Dress warm the theatre was a little draftee.

Seeing the Lion King on Broadway was on my ‘Bucket List’. It was one of my favourite movies growing up as a kid and I had spent many a time hoping I’d get a chance to see it. Living in the UK I had more opportunity to see it in London or at one of the touring companies but I though if I’m gonna see it them I’m gonna do it right. The show did not disappoint; I absolutely loved it. I’m not sure if it was the fact that I hadn’t seen a full theatre show before or if it was because I had such love for the movie and excited to see the show but I was utterly astounded from the 1st moment. As soon as the music started and the performers started to sing I got quite emotional and, unashamedly, did tear up. I am a 30 year old woman and I was totally enchanted by the whole show. The performers were amazing and the costumes were outstanding. I cannot recommend this show enough. There were lots of laughs and songs that I could (internally) sing along with. I did overhear a young girl who was around 8 or 9 years old say that it was a little to hard for her to follow, which I understand, it’s not a replica of the movie. But, if you grew up watching the movie or are a Disney fan then this will not disappoint. I have been wanting to see this show on Broadway for many years and it was well worth the wait..I would go see it again Seat-wise...I purchased 2 seats in the Mezzanine- Row B 136/137. Overall great seats which gave a good view of the stage. I was tempted to buy seats in the orchestra but I wasn’t disappointed by the ones I did chose. Admittedly I didn’t get the close up view of the performers walking down the aisles but there were performers in the nearby mezzanine overhang, that I was able to see close up. I paid around $135 a ticket and it was money we spent. I’d have paid that for the amazing costumes alone. In my honest opinion, seeing The Lion King on Broadway is a must; you will not be disappointed.

This is one of the shows for which you simply cannot find discounted tickets. I had doubt before the show, but now I think it is worth every penny (paid 200 per ticket plus fees). I found myself singing along quite a few times :) a very enjoyable night, hard to believe it is two and half hours

I have waited forever to see this show. I heard so many wonderful comments about it. I finally got to see it and it absolutely was above and beyond my expectations. This show is absolutely fantastic. The costumes, the voices, the sets, the dancing just amazing!!!. I would encourage the young and the old to go. I will definitely see it again. I want to take my grandson and I'm not waiting as long this time.
