Check-In: 4:00pm Check-Out: 11:00am
The Paul Hotel is a family owned business which strives to replicate their own family values throughout their organization. Hotel guests are indulged with a clear, direct, and focused attention to their needs. A Paul guest is greeted with utilitarian effort and an easy going atmosphere. The Paul Hotel is home to Paul the Nomad who is planting his roots at 32 West 29th street; in his home Paul guests are the priority.

Inspired by the mercantile history of the Flower District, the newly constructed 21-story, 50,000 square foot building was designed by Matt Markowitz Architects and Sharma Group Development. The hotel takes its cue from the history and character of the surrounding NoMad neighborhood with details inspired by the textures and energies of the city and its iconic skyline. The NoMad areas resurgence is due to the legacy of its fine architecture and the beautifully restored Madison Square Park.

From your first step into Paul's Drawing Room, you will be immersed in the distinctive, boutique character of THE PAUL. The design of its 122 residential-style guest rooms with expansive loft-style windows impart a light and airy atmosphere offering dramatic and unparalleled views of The Empire State Building to the North and The Freedom Tower to the South. All of PAUL's guestrooms are custom designed and softly integrate the urban landscape of the local neighborhood in unexpected and playful ways. The interior design team was led by Ronica Sharma of Sharma Group Development.

I very much enjoy staying at the Paul hotel. The rooms are small but clean and updated with nicely designed accommodations. The beds are very comfortable. Aside from being very convenient to all of NYC, the Paul has a wonderful roof bar. The view from the roof is pretty darn amazing.

I booked a room with 2 twin double beds for my daughter and I . The beds were so comfortable, lovely linen , great pillows . The rooms and bathroom had been recently refurbished esp bathroom with a great rainwater shower . The Keurig coffee machine was excellent .it had a small bar fridge in our room not all the rooms have one I believe . The place had enough room for the two of us it’s not huge but adequate. The staff at reception were so friendly and helpful - arranging shuttles, looking up places to go ,finding post offices . The rooftop bar is small but has a great view at night esp of the Empire State . The Paul is so close to subway station 28 street . A metro card pass is definitely worth buying . It’s not far from Macy’s and department stores and jacks was good to get supplies . We didn’t have the breakfast as we preferred a great place around the corner called Little Beet . A $1 a slice pizza takeout - great pizza around the corner did the job of filling hunger pangs . The flower markets on 28 th were good to walk to from here only 4 mins away . The only negative would be the construction across the road - it starts at 7 am so it’s noisy but then again it’s good to get up early and the city is pretty noisy anyhow . It’s the hustle and bustle of New York at your doorstep . I would definitely stay here again for the cleanliness and location .

It is best to get a room facing the back as out front there’s a huge construction site that will be there for a while and is making an absolute racket! Staff is extremely nice however and accommodating

"Fradulently charged. Terribly managed, awful hotel . Zero management"

Somehow a reservation in my name showed up at this hotel accident on hotels.com..... and called immediately to cancel. Literally within the first 24 hours. Hotels.com tried calling the hotel for DAYS..... hours spent on the phone and no one ever picked up . I finally called myself and left a message for a manager. No one called back. Two weeks later I tried again.... calling hotels who had to call the Paul to cancel.... I called as well. No one ever got back to them or me. Two MONTHS LATER - I finally got a hotel employee on the line who said the manager was busy and would call me back. No manager ever did .. i left at least 5 messages. This was a fradulent charge for hundreds of dollars that I never made and the hotel went through with it and would not get rid of it. I let them know it was fraud and they still did nothing. I now have to dispute the charge with my bank . This place should be ashamed

I was in NYC for a very short time and this place was perfect for my trip. Not unnecessary big and definitely not overpriced. The staff was very nice and the bar/restaurant was exactly what I expected.
