The Paul Hotel is a family owned business which strives to replicate their own family values throughout their organization. Hotel guests are indulged with a clear, direct, and focused attention to their needs. A Paul guest is greeted with utilitarian effort and an easy going atmosphere. The Paul Hotel is home to Paul the Nomad who is planting his roots at 32 West 29th street; in his home Paul guests are the priority.

Inspired by the mercantile history of the Flower District, the newly constructed 21-story, 50,000 square foot building was designed by Matt Markowitz Architects and Sharma Group Development. The hotel takes its cue from the history and character of the surrounding NoMad neighborhood with details inspired by the textures and energies of the city and its iconic skyline. The NoMad areas resurgence is due to the legacy of its fine architecture and the beautifully restored Madison Square Park.

From your first step into Paul's Drawing Room, you will be immersed in the distinctive, boutique character of THE PAUL. The design of its 122 residential-style guest rooms with expansive loft-style windows impart a light and airy atmosphere offering dramatic and unparalleled views of The Empire State Building to the North and The Freedom Tower to the South. All of PAUL's guestrooms are custom designed and softly integrate the urban landscape of the local neighborhood in unexpected and playful ways. The interior design team was led by Ronica Sharma of Sharma Group Development.

"Small, but great value!"

The rooms where clean and comfortable! Not that big, but the bathroom was spacious. The bartender we had at the bar was a super nice guy who made great drinks. Beds could have been better since we were sharing between friends, but we had such a good time.

"Great, comfortable location in NYC!"

Super comfortable beds! Rooms are small, with contemporary decor. We had a great view of Empire State Bldg from 20th floor. Breakfast was fine, nothing to write home about, $10 per person. Friendly staff, but my husband felt like the staff was inept when it came to simple things like checking out. Located between 5th Ave. and 6th Ave. Bus stop just down the corner. Plenty of restaurants & markets nearby and easy access to taxis. Not too far from subways -- Penn Station and Herald Square station. Nights were quiet with occasional sirens. Hotel provides ear plugs. Typical daytime noises of traffic & construction. I would definitely stay here again!

1. Why should I listen to marketing down my through before I can speak to anyone on any internal line. For folk sakes America please try and make it nice again. 2. I dare any guest not to leave with a damaged calf with the Base of the bed hitting your calf ohh so freeken often returning from the bathroom to the room. 3. I trust the double charges not my card will be reversed...

"Awesome Hotel with great staff!"

We are a school group of 13 pax - this hotel has been perfect from start to finish! The rooms were really clean, have everything you can need for this level of budget. Small rooms but well set up and nice to be in :) I had fantastic views of Empire State Building. But in particular the front desk staff have been so helpful - making calls, photocopying and just being warm and friendly - I would recommend this hotel to any groups needing a place to base yourself - handing to the subway too and 34th street nearby is a great shopping spot!

"Great staff, Horrible operations managment"

I stood during pride weekend, for 2 nights, in room 301, a double bedded accommodation. I kept my expectations at bay since I've done thorough research of the property. I just needed a room to crash for a few days. The room, not badly designed. I just imagine it being a nightmare for guests with lots of luggage. This is NYC, if you expect large rooms at any hotel you have to pay huge for the space. You don't come here to hang in the room anyway, again THIS IS NYC! I fell in love with the front desk mainly because I viewed this hotel like a burning building whose flames were kept at bay by an amazing front desk staff that always did their best even when they had no answer for key issues like: MISINFORMATION: Everything is inaccurate, room service, menus, parking, bar hours, amenities. If there is one thing that infuriates any hotel guest is inaccurate information. This is a HUGE operations flaw. Quality: Lots of things rubbed me the wrong way including the sheets marked with Sharpie marker with the hotel name. The bar including cancer causing candied cherries into their cocktails. Water only attainable by coming downstairs and pouring a cup in the small 8oz cup. They charge you for luggage after your 2nd bag. The $9.95 American breakfast is poor. Rooftop bar: Amazing view, but very small. Lobby bar: Great Happy Hour There are 2 people that if gone would mean even worse reviews and feedback from guests. Marie - I believe she was the Front Desk Manager. Professional, classy and well spoken. Her personality and character is that of an employee of a Ritz Carlton. She heard all of my complaints and tried to remedy it as best as possible. It was obvious her hands were tied. Sophie - Bartender, I spent part of my stressful time in this hotel at the bar, so did many frustrated guests, go figure. I saw her calm an aggressive, drunk, frustrated, big guy. She even went out the way and made restaurant reservations for my family. I was shocked
