The staff at the Iroquois were very friendly and helpful, offering umbrellas, opening doors and always greeting us when we came in with a smile and hello. The rooms are on the small side, but it is NYC; if possible try not to get a room facing the street as the traffic is backed up and the horns start early in the morning. Difficult to catch a cab on this street. Recommend you walk to either 5th or 6th depending if you are going downtown or uptown; much easier.

This lovely boutique hotel is perfect. The location cannot be beat. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable. Although we have not had any special needs during our stay; the staff is very attentive and always ask us if we need anything. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely do so again!

The Iroquois is a lovely hotel with loads of charm combined with modern amenities. Our room was one of the smaller ones in the hotel, but still very comfortable -- beautifully designed and updated while retaining charm. What we also enjoyed is the location. 44th street has several other hotels and restaurants, giving you some good options. It's in the center of everything but unlike other nearby streets this is still sane! Easy access to mass transit and to the theatre district, as well as shopping. Would highly recommend. Only real criticism is lack of coffee maker in room, although it's available in the library area.
