If you're in NYC for theatre, this is top location. All Broadway theatres walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful. Double room we had plenty big, although very plain; bathroom very nice. Beautiful restaurant and cocktail bar; no more expensive than others in theatre district hotels. Walking distance to Grand Central.

The hotel and the staff never disappoint. It is always a pleasure to return and to be treated as family. Best SLH that I have stayed in. Excellent food, excellent service and the newly renovated rooms are truly modern and chic. Definitely far more closet space than previously experienced in the suite.

The hotel provides a clean and comfortable stay and in close proximity to most attractions and shopping. Walking distance to Time Square and 5th Avenue. The only flip side is that they do not offer a breakfast buffet.

Good location. Small room and bath, which I guess is common in New York. Very nice staff; clean rooms and nice linens. Food very expensive but lovely ambiance. I liked this hotel but must say it is a lot to pay for a small room with little window light, no sitting chair, no in room coffee or fridge. I will say the bed is quite comfy and I slept well and the shower fixtures are good.

"Smallest room ever in NYC"

While the hotel is quaint, quiet and in a good spot, the room I received was the smallest room I have ever had in NYC. You couldn't open the bathroom door fully as the bed stopped it! I would possible stay there again, but just know to ask for a full size room!
