We recently stayed at the Millennium Hilton Downtown. We had stayed there before and decided to come back because it’s located right next to the World Trade Center. We had a room with a great view of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, but the room was not cleaned to a high standard. There was hair on the wall of the shower from the previous guest, and there were spots on the comforter. The hotel also decided to do away with their guest service directory. I had to call to find out about gym hours and other hotel amenities. Finally the bar at the hotel opens at 4 PM daily, even on weekends. We noticed several customers come into the bar on a Saturday, only to be turned away in frustration. Overall we had an okay stay, but we will likely stay somewhere else next time we are in NYC.

"Great views, friendly /helpful staff, subway right out front to Times Square and across the street from the Occulus"

We always stay midtown but decided to switch it up this time & glad we did! The hotel/our room were clean & our view was spectacular! The Occulus was right in front of us as was one of the reflecting pools & Tower 1 with the river & Jersey beyond. We were on the 40th floor. The people at the front desk were all very helpful & the concierge was great. There is a nice restaurant on level 3, but of course pricey. Check out the Stage Door deli across the street for breakfast! We will be back! Thank you Millenium!

"Perfect location, great room"

The room was comfortable and quiet, and great views. We could go to visit the 9 11 area in the day, and go back and see reflecting pools at night. Staff will help you get a cab, figure out the subway, or a place to eat. Went out of their way to be sure we had a great stay. Plus the pool was a wonderful break from all the walking.

"Location! Location! Location! Oh, thanks Anthony.."

My wife and I visited this hotel the weekend of October 6th as we were in town to celebrate her birthday. I’ve stayed at the Millennium time square and figured I would stay away from hectic Times Square. Check-In was easy as I checked in using the Hilton honors app. We arrived early (around 10am), and immediately I checked to see if we received our upgrade as our AmEx platinum benefits give us Hilton gold status. I was told no........Long story short, I worked with the manager Anthony and he immediately took care of us. We gave us an awesome corner suite with spectacular views. Next issue was I received a call from my card company informing me that a large charge was pending. Come to find out at the time of the upgrade, there was a “glitch” in their system and I was over charged, but I worked with Anthony again and he took great care of us. We received breakfast vouchers as apart of the Hilton honors program and the food was GREAT! All in all, I would stay here again despite the few minor incidents.
