"Great views of the Hudson, Nicest staff in all of New York"

My husband and I stayed here over a weekend this past winter. The subway station is about a block away and the 9/11 memorial is right in front of the hotel. Although not conveniently located to Times Square, it is a good location and I felt safe despite all the construction in the area. The staff was absolutely nice and helpful. The reason for 4 stars is because the pool looked nice in the pictures but was absolutely terrible. Kids everywhere splashing around and the water was dirty to my standards. Would have been nice if staff was there to control the chaos around the pool area

This is a great Hilton near 9/11 memorial with fantastic views of the Hudson and Freedom Tower. Sits right next to St Paul's Church, which was glorious in recent March snowstorm. Front desk staff is great but bar/restaurant are just so-so. Starbucks in the same building on Dey Street side. Westfield World Trade Center directly across the street for anything you may have forgotten - includes an Apple store

"Overdue for Rehab"

We are Hilton Honors guests. Family of 4. We stayed 7 nights in March 2017. Upgraded to a Jr Suite. Pros Great downtown location - just across street from Ground Zero and very close to subway, restaurants, shopping, etc Staff were kind and helpful, esp to kids Our one in-room dining experience was pretty good JR suite views and layout were good for a family of 4 Kids loved the pool Cons The JR suite was badly in need of rehab: grungy, worn, frayed and stained carpet, stained couch cushions, peeling wallpaper, rusty bathroom fixtures, light bulbs out in bathroom vanity, dirty grout, and worst of all stained sheets on bed! Ugh! Even the TV screen was super dirty. We are not very picky but it was BAAD. We complained and asked to be moved (we were there with our young children after all) but the other room offered had similar issues. My wife, who stays in this location often said the regular King rooms are not quite as bad in terms of wear and tear. Other thing we didn't like is that there is STILL construction at Ground Zero, which starts before 7am, 6 days a week and is VERY loud. (This is clearly not the hotels fault but it's a factor to consider).

Nice place to stay. Subway is nearby. Location is okay depending on the purpose of your visit. City view room allowed us to see the 911 Memorial and the new World Trade Center. Worth the upgrade! Close to the Staten Island Ferry and the Brooklyn Bridge. Would have preferred a location closer to Central Park but with the subway it worked out.

Came to cheer daughter running her first half marathon. Have stayed here before and always enjoyed its location. Had a corner Jr Suite with a great view for the best price I have experienced in NUC for years. Great staff quality rooms and fantastic location in the downtown/financial district.
