Impressive hotel just next to WTC and the Memorial and close to the Brooklin Bridge. Stayed two nights and ejoyed a 45th floor river view: next time will request the view over ground zero. It’s a pity they do not have executive lounge, although I got breakfast vouchers (only upon request). Not sure if I’ve been upgraded, but the room was nice and comfortable with complimentary bottled water. The first reception when I checked in was just regular, but when I returned next day for a key forgotten in the room, have been greeted pleasantly as a Diamond member. Made my day. Will return again.

We stayed on the 55th floor facing the water front which was a disappointment. We were hoping for Ground Zero view. Our accessible room was somewhat dated, but the employees were above average. They were there anytime we requested assistance. They offered Wi-Fi for a fee which was very spotty - had to keep signing back in. The buffet was very small and basically offered the same thing each day with a few minor changes and the restaurant was somewhat expensive. We requested a refrigerator in our room which was more like a freezer. We also requested a microwave which we paid $35 for the week. Every day, we received assistance with our wheelchair in and out of taxis - except the day it poured. They were not around. We chose this hotel for its closeness to all the sights we wanted to see, the majority of which we could walk or roll to.

Excellent position right next to Twin towers and restaurants and the waters edge. Service was really good with the front desk and cleaners etc all being very helpful. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good in comparison to other hiltons. Gym was ok - not brilliant. Overall - recommend

Great location great service on every level. The front desk staff were Great, bellhops great, cleaning staff great and dining staff great. When we left and headed to JFK for home only to realize we had left a suitcase at the hotel. Mor and Anthony, the manager, went above and beyond sending the bag by taxi to us at JFK. The help and service was exceptional. The location is great for every mode of transportation and the area has enough sights to keep you entertained for a few days without even heading to midtown.

"Great location, sub-par hilton experience"

In general, I have quite low expectations of NYC hotels as I have learned over the years that most are simply interested in getting as much money out of tourists while offering sub-par services and accommodations compared to other U.S. and international cities. Sadly, my recent stay at the Millenium Hilton confirmed this impression once again, falling well below my usual experience as a loyal Hilton Honors member. We had an especially terrible experience with one of the bell staff, who returned my tip money commenting "I don't need this, who tips XX amount??" - incredibly rude, insulting and an absolute first for me. I immediately brought this to the attention of the guest services manager, who was very apologetic and said she would take this up with the relevant staff member, but also never offered anything to make it up to us. In addition, one of the rooms we booked (two double beds) was marketed for up to 4 people (as per website) - however, the beds are MUCH smaller than a regular double (full) size bed ("custom size" I was told by front desk staff, whatever that means). This makes it impossible for two average-sized people to share. With three of us supposed to sleep in that room, the hotel offered a rollaway free of charge, but even that fell short of the expectation of a real bed. This is in addition to badly worn furniture and surfaces (particularly floors and desks) that were far from spotless. In sum, this hotel enjoys a great location and connections to everywhere in NCY, but rooms and service do not in any way match what one would expect of the Hilton brand.
