"FIVE OR THREE< ITS UP TO THEE"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

Whys its a five It is literally feet from the 9 11 memorial. It has a garage right there. It has an on site restaurant and bar. The subway is right there. The building is very tall and the elevators were very responsive so the wait was never... The view from the room (high floor) was perfect, especially at night as the world trade center was lit up Why is a three The rooms are worn out, there is no car valet and getting a cab without uber is impossible The restaurant has a very limited menu. The bar area closes at 11 on Fridays and they are adamant about closing and actually ask you to leave. Very expensive as you are paying for its proximity to 9 11. Typical Hilton horrible coffee!! Had to chase down help with luggage. Very loud elevators and A/C, heat.... to the point where it affected sleep. The suite wasn't so sweet. If you want to see the 9 11 site and memorial its perfect. Just buy tickets to the museum ahead of time, it was incredible...if not staying to see the area find another hotel.

"Business hotel that's better on the weekends"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

This particular Hilton is located right in the heart of the Financial district, directly across Church St from the Westfield World Trade Center building, and less than a block from the 9/11 Memorial. During the week, it's a business hotel, but on the weekend, the rates come down, and it's a great option for a couples getaway weekend to the city. There's exceptionally easy access to the A, C, E, R, and W subway lines, and it's less than a block from PATH trains, putting all of the city within easy reach. For example, we went to a matinee show off Broadway, scooted back to the hotel to change and freshen up, and made it to dinner reservations, no problem. The rooms are decently appointed, the front desk staff is efficient, and it's generally a quite good choice. There are some down sides, however...avoid the breakfast buffet and room service. The floor staff is slow, inefficient, and looks bored with their jobs. The food is not good either. They've cheaped out on ingredients and kitchen staff to raise their profits, and the results are not good. All in all though, this hotel is a decent value for money given the location and easy access to transportation, and I will most likely be back for another stay.

"Perfect NYC Stay"

While some say it wasn't worth the money, compared to other hotels in NYC, the Millenium Hilton was of great value! The rooms were larger by comparison, making it very worth the extra money to simply not feel claustrophobic. And the views of the Freedom Tower from our high-floor room were awesome! I would absolutely stay here again.

"Nice Location, High Price, Low Standards"

Staying on a business trip and was excited to be staying again. Things were much different this time around than last. The woman at the front desk was borderline rude. Almost every interaction I had with the staff was less than expected. The thing that tipped me over was room service. I ordered breakfast and the menu said the cost was $28...by the time of the fees and a $5 tip were added on, I wound up paying $52 for eggs, bacon coffee and toast! Disappointing experience.

"Good stay in an excellent location"

We stayed at the Millenium Hilton 3/31 – 4/3 in a Junior Suite on the 15th floor. We checked in during the wee hours and because we had done online check in, business at the front desk only took a few minutes. Our room faced the 9/11 Memorial Site, but being on a lower floor we only overlooked the Oculus, which blocked the view of the rest of the site, and we had a great view of World One. There is construction going on directly across the street, which was extremely noisy except on Sunday, when the site was silent. The room was clean, but showing a few signs of wear (wallpaper starting to separate in the bathroom, some wear on the wood furniture, etc.). The bedding and towels were great and the pull out bed was not terrible. Housekeeping did a great job each day as well. The internet service was good, allowing my husband to work from the room without any issues. Our only real complaint was the lack of electrical outlets. The room electronics (lamps, etc.) were all crammed into a sketchy looking power strip under the bed and the only way to charge our personal electronics was to remove one of the room devices to make room for our own plugs. We did have breakfast at Church & Dey one morning. It was a standard hot buffet with a small assortment of pastries and cold items as well. Other than the fact that they offered no cream cheese to go with the bagels (? In NYC no less) and the rather high price tag for what it was, it was a good meal and the waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel is in a great location, within a block of three subway lines and walking distance to everything in the Financial District and Battery Park. Booking early and being Hilton Honors member got us a great rate and we were quite happy with our stay.
