"Stay elsewhere "

It's just overrated. I'll start with the good. The view was nice. If you have to stay downtown then I guess but it's not worth the $531 I paid. Nor would it be worth $150 in my book. Carpet is dirty and mine had cigarette burns in the carpet. No fiited sheet on the bed. Team member waltzed in my room without knocking saying some company's name, while I was in my underwear. Obviously had the wrong room but you should knock anyways. See my other review on the restaurant. My office just moved around the corner but I promise I'll stay elsewhere the next time I'm in town even if I have to take a cab. They can keep the Hilton honors points.

"Beautiful view and lobby, stains and mold in the room"

Arrived at 4:00 PM to check in. Check in starts at 3:00 but our room wasn't ready. Had to accept a room 8 floors lower. The view and location was still great. However, there were 3 large stains on the carpet. The bathroom had no fan (pet peeve) and so there was black mold growing on the ceiling. I was in town for 1 night at a Hilton Honors VIP event, but I was still paying $350 a night plus $70 for parking. The bed was so small we could barley fit. Very disappointed. Very expensive food and drinks. I will stay elsewhere on our next 20 visits...

"Great Spot. Excellent Staff."

Had an excellent stay here with our ten-year-old son just before Thanksgiving. The rate was reasonable, which means a ton of bang for your buck in a location that's surrounded by interesting and historic spots within walking distance. As for those spots NOT walking distance, the Fulton Street Station - right across the street - is a transportation hub that will get you anywhere in the city. Big props to staffers Sandra and Luis for their extra attention to a request of mine that was fulfilled quickly and courteously. This was a special stay and we'll absolutely be back.
