Based on the reviews we decided to book the Ride. We had to wake up very early based on the fact that we had the NY pass and we had to be at the ticket office before 8am (they open at 9am) otherwise we would not get tickets. We really wanted to go so we did it. We were a bit disappointing.. Jackie and Scott were nice hosts. I expected the tour to be more guided about facts of NYC instead just driving two blocks were we saw some actors dancing. The actors did a very good job.. but still I expected it to be more of a sightseeing tour. Besides that it was really hot in the bus. They told us that the AC was on but it not seem like it.. I think it is a fun ride but it is not a must..

"Best Way to See NYC Highlights "

I highly recommend The Ride. Our guide was funny and insightful and felt very modern (important for our teens). It was the perfect way to see the NYC highlights on a rainy afternoon. Speaking of rain, my only complaint was they asked us to be there 15-20 minutes ahead of time (which was fine). But it was raining and we all stood in a line huddled under umbrellas and getting soaked pants while the nice, dry bus sat idling, empty, in front of us. Several people asked if we could board early b/c of the rain and we're told "no" that it was strict company policy. The woman was nice and apologetic, but The Ride should strongly consider changing that rule for inclimate weather. I simply couldn't believe that we were getting soaked and the bus was empty. Simply poor customer service.

Started of bad with the booking and collection of tickets. Had to queue up outside a small gift shop with the crowd of New-yorkers busy rushing around everywhere. The gift shop was small and the whole system seemed out of place for a large attraction like this. Nonetheless gotten the tickets for the 9pm slot. Entertaining from the very moment we gotten on the Ride. The street performers were awesome, the hosts were superb and extremely energetic in keeping the mood high. Jokes throughout the ride and the 90 minutes journey felt like 10 mins only! Kinda expecting what is coming up next but it was still very entertaining with the constant engagement with crowds on the streets.

If you are looking for a nice way to enjoy the sights of New York in an intimate setting then this is the way to go. You get to see sites and learn about the area in a more personal setting. You don't get to get off and on the bus but that's alright. I would recommend doing the tour and if you are interested in a more imersive experience then do the downtown tour. I was looking to do this as I have seen the bus and thought it was a cool way to see the city and since it was raining i didn't want to get wet.

This is a must do.if you are in ny city. The bus is an interactive experience with lots of participation by the riders. The hosts make you feel part if the ny experience. Come prepared to laugh and sing and get involved. What a great time. Thi is a must do if you are visiting ny city. Br aware eht you must get tickets. This process can be daughtung. Get there early the seats fill up fast and you can not make reservations. If you get ny pass make sure you have ever ones pass. The process is slow plan to be there a good 45 minutes to an hour depending on.what time in the morning you get there. There should be a way to spead it up. The ride itself is amazing and so much fun.
