My husband and I went for our anniversary in April. We happened to see The Ride as we were walking. Out of curiosity we found their webpage and began to think it would be something we would enjoy. The only open time was 10:45pm which was a little late for us. We went and it did not disappoint. So much fun and so many laughs.

"A lot of fun"

This hour and a half tour covers mainly midtown Manhattan and gives an overview of most of the iconic sites in the area. It also introduces people to areas they may not have heard of, such as Hells Kitchen. What makes this so much fun is the on board entertainment - mainly the passengers interacting with the people on the street - such fun. The hosts, Jackie and Scott on the bus are good fun, Jackie deserves a special mention - very good at interacting with the passengers as well as having a really good voice. The street entertainers are all talented performers. Only draw back is the cost, it is expensive at around £50. I would recommend it though.

We had read about The Ride on the net and were very excited to experience it. Our guides Angela and Scott were very entertaining and the shows on the streets were amusing and well done, Also The Rides impersonation of a subway train was quite hilarious.

I don’t really want to give too much away about this fantastic entertainment and sightseeing tour as I feel the best way to enjoy this amazing trip is not to know so much about it and just go! I knew nothing of what to expect and found it to be brilliant fun. The hosts we had were Jackie and Nancy who were really funny and entertaining. The whole production was extremely clever and professional, so well put together. It must take a huge amount of planning. The entertainers are first class. A good hour or so of non-stop laughing and pure enjoyment. Would highly recommend this to anyone reading this review. We purchased front row seats which I think were great value and so worth it (though you’d get a great view from any row).
