I had seen The Ride on TV and thought it looked fun. So we decided to give it a try on our trip to New York. Definitely one of the funnest things we did. I took my daughter, son in law and grand baby and everyone loved it!

"Poorly done"

I bought tickets because it sounded like a fun experience. Then the bus was 30 minutes late. Then another 10 minutes of standing in the cold while they tries to fix a technical issue. Which they never fixed. So there was no sound or lights on the bus. No video for the first half. The driver kept turning the wrong way (also trying to turn the wrong way down a one way street) so we skipped half the tour. I should have bought a trip on a hop on hop off. The one pro was that it was warm.

"Nice attraction, but not enough entertaining for the costs"

We did like The Ride, but it did not meet our expectations. Regarding the costs we expected more entertainment. The interactive virtual reality app, which was promoted on the side of the bus, was not mentioned at all.

"Fun way to see the city"

All I can say is get on board and leave any inhibitions at the door. The staff are there to ensure you have a good time and if you join in the fun you will really enjoy this fun way to see the city. We went as a family of five on one of the evening tours so it was great to see the city at night. Fun facts and ride profiles will have you laughing all the way. Street performances are an excellent element of the tour but like all things great it’s the staff that make it. Would highly recommend. Ensure you get your “ticket to the ride” !
