"Grandsons Loved It"
October, 2015
It is sometimes a tough thing to impress one's grandsons. Ripley's Beleive It or Not really solved that problem for this grandmother. My grandsons, aged 13 and 11 really got into all of the exhibits and had a great time!!! Their mother and I also found a lot of the stories extremely interesting and on the whole, this is a great, fun experience for the whole family.

"Great for the Family"
March, 2015
This was a great experience for my entire family. We have a 3 and 13 year old and both enjoyed it. It was also enjoyable for the adults. Great experience to see different things, and a way for the entire family to interact with each other.

"If your kids are into weird stuff, they will enjoy this"
January, 2015
A reasonable collection of weird kind of stuff. An eclectic mix. My kids enjoyed it, especially the end section which is quite interactive. They also liked the 'weird photo' opportunities. It is reasonably presented, though I think somewhat overpriced. At half the price I would have said it was a good deal, so it was good to get slightly discounted tickets.

"Good place to be in indoors for 1-2hrs"

This place is located at the heart of the Time square. My kids wanted to go here after seeing the Ripley's book. They are 10 and 9 yo and they liked the experience here. I really had no expectations at all but it was more than I thought it would be. We enjoyed our time here for sure. We live around NYC so this wasn't a big trip for us. Just a casual no school day outing. If you have enough time or need to kill some time, it's worth visiting since it's one of the cheaper attractions in time square. Walk in with no expectations, then it'll be more enjoyable for you. Don't forget to check their website for special rates and google for their discounts. I think they're much cheaper after 8pm.

"Very good, interesting."

, Very good, interesting but we paid for the extra activity, but we thought that was a waste of time and money, going into a lift to see a so called type cave. The place itself was very interesting and unique. Family participation is encouraged.

"You've gotta see this if you've seen the one in Baltimore"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

I went to the one in Baltimore first, so I didn't plan to see this one at first. But they open late (until midnight or 11 pm the day I went) and sell combo ticket to Madame Tussauds (at the same place as Ripley's), and I had nothing else to do that evening. What makes me think that this one is great and the one in Baltimore is terrible is that they both display shrunken heads. This one explains how those shrunken heads are made. Before this, I've always had a huge doubt about the authenticity of the shrunken heads, because they seem to come from nowhere. Nobody's head is gonna just shrink like that.

I thought it would be fun to visit, but honestly I got through it so fast to just get done with it. It’s not a must, but if you like Ripley’s so much, why not?! :)

A great time at Ripley's we enjoyed all the interesting collected items and the stories behind them. Learned a lot about things I did not know about before I went. The kids really enjoyed themselves, almost had to pull them out of the place.
