"Grandsons Loved It"
October, 2015
It is sometimes a tough thing to impress one's grandsons. Ripley's Beleive It or Not really solved that problem for this grandmother. My grandsons, aged 13 and 11 really got into all of the exhibits and had a great time!!! Their mother and I also found a lot of the stories extremely interesting and on the whole, this is a great, fun experience for the whole family.

"Great for the Family"
March, 2015
This was a great experience for my entire family. We have a 3 and 13 year old and both enjoyed it. It was also enjoyable for the adults. Great experience to see different things, and a way for the entire family to interact with each other.

"If your kids are into weird stuff, they will enjoy this"
January, 2015
A reasonable collection of weird kind of stuff. An eclectic mix. My kids enjoyed it, especially the end section which is quite interactive. They also liked the 'weird photo' opportunities. It is reasonably presented, though I think somewhat overpriced. At half the price I would have said it was a good deal, so it was good to get slightly discounted tickets.
Tip: It takes about 3 hours if you read and try everything, but you could do it in half that time if you were just browsing

In the center of London, this unique five stories museum was a cool refreshment. Very unordinary exhibits - some are terrific some are amazing. Price is a bit high - but overall experience was good.

"Great but not for young kids "

This is an interesting place to visit; however, our kids were scared of a lot of it (5,7). We had no idea what it was ahead of time but needed a rainy day activity. For teenagers and adults, it would be ok. If I had it to do again, I'd visit the Met or American Museum of Natural History again instead. They are also cheaper...

Visited with a 16, 11, and 6 year old. Took about an hour and a half to get through the museum. Many interactive exhibits and the entire trip held everyone's attention. Even the bathroom was entertaining!

"High Price to see shrunken heads"

This is right next door to Madame Tussauds. I've been by many times and find there's always a line at Madame Tussauds, but never a line at Ripley's. My 10 year old grandson wanted to go because he's intrigued by the stuff in the Ripley's books, so we went on one of his spring break vacation days. The exhibit is constructed to lead you through the rooms in a way that you must go by everything (it is not just a big room filled with stuff) so it took us about an hour. There are some museum-like exhibits of a mastodon skeleton, wooly mammoth tooth, and elaborately carved ivory. There are ridiculous things like Lady Gaga's portrait in actual, new Crayola crayons like a giant pixelated portrait, and a model of King Kong made out of rubber tires, and a video of a woman who stretched her neck using coiled wire. There are mirrors that distort your image in different ways, a suspended bridge they call the "black hole" that makes you feel like you are going to fall, and of course, those shrunken heads they always advertise. Most of the exhibits are photos or replicas of human oddities like the tallest, fattest, and smallest people and conjoined twins, along with some of their clothes and shoes to give you an idea of their extreme size. There are a few taxidermy exhibits of two-headed animals, a six-legged calf, and an albino giraffe. Even with a discount for on-line tickets or by using a coupon being freely given out in front of the building, it was probably not worth it.

Went to kill time and it was fun. They have a laser game for the kids to play at no extra cost. Very cool for kids of all ages. Obviously teenagers will be more interested than the young ones. It mine are 10&7 and had a blast.
