"Grandsons Loved It"
October, 2015
It is sometimes a tough thing to impress one's grandsons. Ripley's Beleive It or Not really solved that problem for this grandmother. My grandsons, aged 13 and 11 really got into all of the exhibits and had a great time!!! Their mother and I also found a lot of the stories extremely interesting and on the whole, this is a great, fun experience for the whole family.

"Great for the Family"
March, 2015
This was a great experience for my entire family. We have a 3 and 13 year old and both enjoyed it. It was also enjoyable for the adults. Great experience to see different things, and a way for the entire family to interact with each other.

"If your kids are into weird stuff, they will enjoy this"
January, 2015
A reasonable collection of weird kind of stuff. An eclectic mix. My kids enjoyed it, especially the end section which is quite interactive. They also liked the 'weird photo' opportunities. It is reasonably presented, though I think somewhat overpriced. At half the price I would have said it was a good deal, so it was good to get slightly discounted tickets.

"Great museum - so much fun with a lot to see!"

There are so many fun things to see & get involved in. We took a lot of photographs! Staff were friendly & welcoming. Highlights for us; the world's tallest man, the vortex tunnel, the heads in glass jars & the interactive dance room (we want one of those installed at home!). A guest could easily spend a few hours here, seeing all of the oddities and reading the information about each piece. We were pleased to find Ripley's was included on our City Sightseeing Pass, otherwise we could have missed it. We would definitely recommend this attraction if you are after something a bit different.

"Great museum but staff needs to more diligently protect the work"

Great museum with one qualm so major that it will dissuade me from visiting again. The support staff needs to be more diligent in taking care of the art. I have included pictures of a train-set made entirely from matches. It's such an utter beauty and obviously must have been quite a time-consuming endeavor. However, there are guests, and specifically their children, who yank so aggressively on the train whistle and actually climb and sit on the display seats like they are plopping down on their leather couch. I noticed multiple matches dislodging from the display. This is just one example. There were countless other times when the guests were treating the art so violently and showing absolutely no respect. The staff needs to be more vigilant, caution guests, and protect the hard work of artists. It is utterly disrespectful and disgusting that tourists think for a picture they can abuse and mistreat the installations. Please have your staff patrol the museum and protect the work.

"Fun and Interesting "
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

My husband and I took our 3 girls to Ripley’s. They are 9,6,4. It has lots of interesting items and stories to go along. It took us about 1.5 hrs to casually walk through, spending less than 5 minutes at any given item. Our two older girls enjoyed it but the little had enough after 30 minutes. The tickets are average price for something like this, but we bought our tickets on Groupon and saved 50%. At the price we paid, the experience was definitely worth it. If you are looking to waste some time or want to take your time and walk through, this is a good place. The only downside was the temperature inside building. Lately here in NYC, it has been a bit warm for October. The temp inside was probable close to 80. Very hot and stuffy.
