"Grandsons Loved It"
October, 2015
It is sometimes a tough thing to impress one's grandsons. Ripley's Beleive It or Not really solved that problem for this grandmother. My grandsons, aged 13 and 11 really got into all of the exhibits and had a great time!!! Their mother and I also found a lot of the stories extremely interesting and on the whole, this is a great, fun experience for the whole family.

"Great for the Family"
March, 2015
This was a great experience for my entire family. We have a 3 and 13 year old and both enjoyed it. It was also enjoyable for the adults. Great experience to see different things, and a way for the entire family to interact with each other.

"If your kids are into weird stuff, they will enjoy this"
January, 2015
A reasonable collection of weird kind of stuff. An eclectic mix. My kids enjoyed it, especially the end section which is quite interactive. They also liked the 'weird photo' opportunities. It is reasonably presented, though I think somewhat overpriced. At half the price I would have said it was a good deal, so it was good to get slightly discounted tickets.

The advertising for Ripleys had made it out to be incredible and magical. The exhibits were underwhelming for us. For $35 USD per person I wouldnt recommend going here. Outdated.

"Overpriced for the value"

I've always wanted to go here, but could never getup the courage to pay the 32 dollars. So finally one day I had some time to kill and decided to pay the money for me and my date. After 65 dollars with tax we set upon this adventure that had been hyped up for years of me wanting to go and peeking from the outside. For being in the heart of Manhattan there was literally nobody in there, it was quite odd to say the least, no tour guides to explain anything at all and a lot of reading. The attractions were pretty cool, but for so much money I'd assume I'd get a tour. Not only was it kind of stale and quiet for the money, but some of the attractions were old and worn to the point where they were kind of ancient. It seems like nobody even really pays attention to the inside. At the point of 2 hours we had only been passed by 4 people, and I can't imagine how any business could make money from 4 people every 2 hours. The price of the ticket I feel should have been worth about 6 dollars max, because as much as I enjoyed the articles and shrunken heads etc. I still felt really dumb after spending so much money for such a monetary value. I feel like seeing those things was really as exciting as watching a you-tube video. To think of it, a You-tube video would have been a lot more informative! Really disappointing =/ I wanted to love it more than I did.

"Unusual and nice museum"

We are couple with 3 kids and visited the museum in July. It was just great visiting, the kids really like it, especially the tunnel with all the surrounding lights. The exhibits are weird and wonderful for all ages. The place seems too old and the course is short, we finished it in 1.5 hr. The museum is highly recommended and we will be glad to come back again.

As always this Ripleys will not disappoint. Near Times Square. I used a Groupon immediately and for a super discount. We had a couple of hours to wait before a dinner reservation and it was raining. So, I looked on Groupon to solve out time problem while staying dry. The staff was great and we entered in immediately. I recommend!
