The place is relatively small, can be covered within 1:30 hrs. expected few more characters and also the characters in their famous role. However, this is not the situation there. Most of the character were in formal dress up. However, a fun place to visit with family.

Our family's first visit to New York and of course we wanted to see the legendary Madame Tussauds of New York. Wish we had saved our money. We didn't want the 4D show, but were told it was included in the cheapest package, of $39 dollars. The staff was not helpful at all and at times seemed uncertain about what they were doing. The lines would move quicker if it didn't take a team to wait on one person. Surprisingly, when we had a question the person we asked had to go find someone to get an answer. One question we had was how many floors there was supposed to be. We're still guessing 9, but only 5 available to us. The political figures are what you'd expect at this wax museum, the others are very much lacking. A visit to the Hollywood Wax museum, like the one in Myrtle Beach, and you'll understand what a disappointment Madame Tussauds is. Save your money, NY is full of other fabulous attractions.

We visited here with our six year old. Can't say that there is much to do in there. The statues are incredibly life-like, but, it gets a little boring after a bit just looking at wax statues. We did watch the movie which was entertaining enough. Unfortunately, though, I can't say that I think that it was worth the money. Sorry Madame Tussauds😕

Expected to see Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. Not there. Nor were there the Beatles or Michael Jackson and Hillary Clinton was removed and no Capt. AAmerica or Iron Man and No Frankenstein or Mummy or Bela Lugosi as Dracula. Not what I expected from my first time To New York City.

We had the New York Passes so were delighted to have Madam Tussaud’s as a free attraction. We went early on a Sunday and as a result there were no queues. The layouts of the figures is very well done, with great categories which appeal to all ages. As usual with all wax figures, some are amazing - some are just ok. As an example, the British Royal family figures - Harry and Meghan are amazing.....especially Harry, he really does look real. William and Kate aren’t so good and The Queen is just OK. I’m not sure that the attraction is worth a whole visit fee $29, but it was certainly a bonus to have it on our pre-paid pass.
