"Nice to be back at CI, but the wrist-band vouchers from Reserve NYC had some unlisted limitations."
June, 2017
The Reserve New York City wristband does not include the Cyclone or about 4 or 5 of the highest thrill rides. These rides require separate tickets. This limitation was not listed in the description, we only found this out at Luna Park, when we handed in our vouchers; resulting in $30 of additional charges (just for the Cyclone). In addition there was a 90 minute delay in receiving our vouchers once we paid online, they were not "immediately available". This was a last minute purchase, and we had 15 minutes before leaving..luckily a helpful customer service agent was able to email me the vouchers more quickly.

Reserve NYC, my suggestion is to clearly state what the wristbands do and do not cover, "...up to 24 rides" really doesn't cut it...and.. to alert the purchaser (before buying) of any delay they may encounter before receiving the online vouchers.

We used our New York pass to get a free four hour wrist band for everyone. We went on a Sunday afternoon in September, and it was so quiet, four hours was more than enough. You could go on rides, get off, walk back around and go on them again. As you weren't wasting time waiting in lines, we got to do each ride a few times if you wanted too, our youngest did the carousel three times in a row, all by herself! Yes, the big name rides aren't included with the pass, but what is was more than enough to keep three kids under 12 entertained, as well as both adults as well.

I used to go as a kid. Many years later I went back and it was like I was there a week prior. Great fun and memories. A little pricey though! Make sure you go on a nice day if possible. Lots of great walking to do if you like!

The good things are it's close to the beach, easy to get to from the subway, they have one good ride thunderbolt. I didn't get to the Coney Island cyclone though. The layout of the park was very confusing. It had another park right next to it. The cost of this place is outrageous! A wristband costs $70 over the summer. I think it's a little less in October but still very pricey. Also, the walk from the subway to the park was not good. Wouldn't want to be there at night. Don't take a car because there's nowhere to park. Very dingy area. Also, when I got a hot dog, I got it and I asked for ketchup. I waited probably 15 minutes to get it. Actually I just left without ketchup! The employee was very slow for getting back to refill the ketchup. I just gave up! Finally, the staff were walking around like they were bored. They didn't look like they liked their job. Would never recommend to anybody. No rides for little ones. Overall, I didn't like it.

Getting there: It’s easy to reach the park by the metro. You can get off at the Coney Island stop and the park is walking distance Entry: you could either get an unlimited pass which is $50 per person or else get a top up card and everyone can use the same card This park isn’t like a normal theme park, this there is no entry per se but each ride is chargeable. So incase you plan to do a lot of rides, take the unlimited pass per person. We took the top of card for $100 and it gave us 40% extra. Since we did not want to do all the rides. this worked out better for the 3 of us. The park: the rides are so well managed. We went on a Sunday but there wasn’t any line. We reached only at 3 and were able to cover the park easily. (Check out the park timings before hand) Overall, loved the place, amazing vibe and thankfully the weather was really kind to us too! (Went in mid October)
