We booked this trip well in advance of visiting NYC. Having booked our trip for 9.45, we were early and no waiting around. The pilot that we had was very good, pointing out the points of interest as we flew over. The time went really quick. But this is highly recommended, an amazing experience and a memory to be made. Thank you, Reserve, and thank you Liberty Helicopters. We hope to see you again. Andrea
Tip: Don't forget your camera.. this is a must. Be prepared for making an amazing memory.

A wonderful experience with a knowledgable pilot. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this. We flew up and down Hudson River and could see all the major sights which were pointed out by the pilot along with interesting historical facts.

Helicopter Ride It was expensive attraction, but amazing. Flying for 15 minutes over the East River and Hudson River is a great occasion to see everything whatever is on Manhattan. Circling over the Statue of Liberty also gives a good chances for taking great shots with your camera. We all had fun! I recommend this attraction. RomanPi

While in New York my family wanted to treat me on my 50th birthday by surprising me to a helicopter ride over the city - something which I have wanted to do for so very long. On their way to book they were stopped in the street close to the helipad by a Liberty Helicopters sales agent named Victor who sold them 5 places for all of our family to go up on a helicopter ride - they paid him a deposit of 1 full price passenger ($250) with the instructions to pay the balance on arrival at the arranged time of our flight, which was to be 2 days later at 3:45pm and on my actual birthday. We arrived at 3:30pm to make sure that we were in plenty of time. On our arrival we were told that there was a delay of around 30 - 45 minutes, which we accepted but also made the girls on the desk aware that we couldn't be too long as we also had tickets for a Broadway show that same evening and that we needed to get fed, showered and changed to make our way uptown for the show. They told us that this would be fine but that they would give us a refund if time got too short for us to stay. By 5:15pm we were still sitting in the holding area with 2 more parties of people in front of us in the line and so I asked one of the agents roughly how long until our turn - he told us that it would be around another 15 minutes for each of the other parties to take their flights plus 10 minutes in between for refueling the helicopter, this in effect would have been another 50 minutes on top of where we were at this point in time. Liberty Helicopters only have one helicopter themselves - several companies operate from the same pier and so initially you see many helicopters taking off and think that it won't take too long until it's your turn. We did not have the time to wait that long as we had the show coming up in another couple of hours time and so asked for a refund. They told us that they could refund us for 4 people but that we had to go along the street and seek out Victor to get the fare for the 5th person as it was him who had made the sale and that this money was a part of his commission for making the sale in the first place so we needed to get it from him! One of the girls on the desk rang Victor to find out where he was and after telling us his location we went to find him. When we got to the location, which was another 5 minute walk away, we were told by a different agent that he had already gone home. So we had to go all the way back to the helipad again and argue with the staff there that we needed our $250 refund from them as Victor had gone home, even though he had told them on the phone that he would wait for us to get to him. After another 10 minutes of them unsuccessfully trying to make contact with Victor they eventually agreed to give us back what we were owed. With all of the messing around this put a whole dampener on my special birthday treat and wasted a good 3 hours of our precious time in New York which could have been spent doing other things. Liberty Helicopters didn't even offer us a good will gesture for all of the inconvenience that had been caused. As we left the helipad office 2 other parties of people were also arguing with staff and trying to get refunds back for their wasted visits. I think that what happens is that Liberty Helicopters give you an arranged time for your flight and then has sales agents such as Victor out along the street selling additional flights - they then shunt up all of the times to allow extra room for their additional customers to be slotted in, and because you have already paid them their money you feel that you have no choice other than to wait. This experience spoiled our whole afternoon and wasted so much of our time. The staff tried to fob us off with excuses and did very little to apologies. I would not recommend Liberty Helicopters.

Two and a half hour wait to get in the helicopter- queuing and waiting- not good! Experience itself was amazing, and weather was perfect.

We arrived at the tour and were told we would have 1 hour DELAY!!!! The people were unfriendly and it always felt as if they wanted to cross sell and get as much extra money as possible from us. The tour was great and the pilot very experienced and nice.
