Many of Liberty's highly trained pilots are ex-military or NYPD. All receive regular recurrent Eurocopter factory training, specifically the requirement of the Federal Aviation Administration part 135 air carrier standards giving you an assurance of safety aboard our helicopters.

All of our aircraft crews are certified and inspected to meet the demanding standards of the Federal Aviation Administration.

We have our own 24 hours 7 days a week maintenance facility to service and maintain our fleet. All of our highly experienced aviation maintenance technicians receive updated Eurocopter factory training on a regular basis.

We booked this trip well in advance of visiting NYC. Having booked our trip for 9.45, we were early and no waiting around. The pilot that we had was very good, pointing out the points of interest as we flew over. The time went really quick. But this is highly recommended, an amazing experience and a memory to be made. Thank you, Reserve, and thank you Liberty Helicopters. We hope to see you again. Andrea
Tip: Don't forget your camera.. this is a must. Be prepared for making an amazing memory.

A wonderful experience with a knowledgable pilot. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this. We flew up and down Hudson River and could see all the major sights which were pointed out by the pilot along with interesting historical facts.

Booked online in the UK with no issues, receiving confirmation and a time slot as requested. Arrived at the Heliport after a walk in Battery Park. Prepped for flight after signing in and a short safety video. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Took off very excited but first helicopter developed an a/c failure so after 5 minutes we were back on the ground. 10 minutes later and another helicopter was ready and off we went. Thrilling worthwhile trip, amazing views, not too scary at all and well worth saving to make the excursion. Highly, highly recommended.

We arrived at pier 6 to do our helicopter flight. We got checked in, saw a safety video and put on our life jackets. We were taken to the helicopters and we flew with Amanda. The view was breathtaking. We saw Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, New Jersey, New York in its intirity, Central Park and all the buildings we has seen from the streets below.

"Beware the Tax"

You need to phone these guys when you arrive to arrange a time to fly. So this is located with 3 or 4 other providers down by Battery Park. It's easy enough to find from South Ferry subway. We turned up they were very polite - we queued up and were admitted 30 minutes before our flight. We filled in forms they then wanted $40 each extra for tax - not particularly happy with that but paid anyway. So after being given a life jacket and TV style briefing we were led onto the Pad. Staff place you in order due to your size. We found the back seat cramped with 4 adults crammed into it. The two in the front had the best of everything. The Captain was polite and informative - visibility wasn't good but we could still see. You don't go everywhere they say you will on the ad....basically you go out to Ellis Island then up the Hudson and back. Now we enjoyed this but did notice every other helicopter had more room with facing seats in the rear. We would reccomend a helicopter ride but beware of the tax, remember to phone to book a time and other providers have more room in the helicopter. The staff were very friendly and polite at all times.

One thing we can check off our list now. The staff was very informative and pleasant. We arrived 30 minutes ahead of flight time and they were right on time. Our pilot pointed out all the highlights and gave us other facts we may not have known. Definitely a must do!
