"Above the skyline"

We booked this trip well in advance of visiting NYC. Having booked our trip for 9.45, we were early and no waiting around. The pilot that we had was very good, pointing out the points of interest as we flew over. The time went really quick. But this is highly recommended, an amazing experience and a memory to be made. Thank you, Reserve, and thank you Liberty Helicopters. We hope to see you again. Andrea
Tip: Don't forget your camera.. this is a must. Be prepared for making an amazing memory.

"Unique views of New York City"

Have flown with Liberty helicopters twice in the last twenty years and this time I was taking my two teenagers for the first time both in a helicopter and NYC. Booked directly with Liberty just before leaving the UK. Received a confirmation number by return. I used the e-mail address sent with the confirmation to request a booking date and time. Confirmation was very swift- so all was set before we left for NYC. Heliport was easy to locate. We took the subway to South Ferry. Guides there will point you the way if you are unsure. It is just past the Governers Island ferry terminal - you will hear the helicopters. The check in was efficient but thorough. A good friendly welcome and service from all the staff After the safety briefing were were taken for our flight with pre fight photo before assisted boarding. My children had the 2 front seats - thanks so much for that, although you are loaded by weight. There are 4 seats in the back. I was in the middle but the views were very good both ahead and through the large side windows. The pilot chatted to us whilst boarding with eased any nerves my children may have had. We did the Big Apple trip which passes close to The Statue of Liberty then turns to give those on the other side a view on return before going on up the Hudson River. Great views of the city with informative commentary from the pilot. (Scott, I think. Sorry). Up to Central Park then turned to back track along the Hudson with New Jersey and NYC views before returning to heliport. The flight seemed longer than the 12 mins once in the air and gives you a good perspective and orientation of the city. Would highly recommend.

The flight, while only 15 minutes, was one of those must do experiences. The pilot was knowledgeable about the various sites and kept up a running commentary. He also made sure to fly the helicopter so that passengers on both sides got good views. The ground personnel were diligent in giving safety instructions and escorting us to and from the helicopter in a safe manner.

"The views were good but the helicoptor was old and it was difficult to get photoshots"

It was a warm day and we were late starting off as they were behind. To be fair to them they distributed water to people waiting in the queue but there was a feeling of the customers being treated like cattle. We were pushed into place. There were some lovely modern helicoptors but the one we were put in was old with things on the door that affected the shots we got through our camera lens. Was it worth it.....for the views yes, but the experience wasn't a brilliant one. We went to the Grand Canyon when we were in Las Vegas and the helicoptor was more modern and we had much better photographs taken. The helicoptor pilot with Liberty was a very nice man, despite his old helicopter.

"I don't recommend the Liberty Helicoter Tours"

Terrible hospitality. Staff doesn't care about clients. Seems that just because they are biggest company and don't need more clients. The helicopters are the oldest when you compare with the others. I recommend the smaller companies.
