THE LARGEST FLEET IN THE NORTHEAST: Liberty Helicopters has a fleet of 16 state-of-the-art American Eurocopter helicopters.

Pilots choose American Eurocopter over Bell and others for their ease of maneuverability, more comfortable and quieter ride, less vibration, better visibility for pilots and passengers. ALL SEATS FACE FORWARD allowing our customers to see where they are going not where they have been.
Liberty Helicopters continuously receives the annual Safety Award from the Helicopter Association International, along with being multiple recipients of the 5 Star Diamond Award and the ERHC Fly Neighborly Award.

Many of Liberty's highly trained pilots are ex-military or NYPD. All receive regular recurrent Eurocopter factory training, specifically the requirement of the Federal Aviation Administration part 135 air carrier standards giving you an assurance of safety aboard our helicopters.

All of our aircraft crews are certified and inspected to meet the demanding standards of the Federal Aviation Administration.

We have our own 24 hours 7 days a week maintenance facility to service and maintain our fleet. All of our highly experienced aviation maintenance technicians receive updated Eurocopter factory training on a regular basis.

We booked this trip well in advance of visiting NYC. Having booked our trip for 9.45, we were early and no waiting around. The pilot that we had was very good, pointing out the points of interest as we flew over. The time went really quick. But this is highly recommended, an amazing experience and a memory to be made. Thank you, Reserve, and thank you Liberty Helicopters. We hope to see you again. Andrea

A wonderful experience with a knowledgable pilot. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this. We flew up and down Hudson River and could see all the major sights which were pointed out by the pilot along with interesting historical facts.

"Amazing tour! Only one critic though..."

We arrived at the pier and were received immediately by a friendly staff. We showed up on time and didn't have to wait at all to get in the helicopter, just go through the regular security procedure. The tour was approximately 15minutes, we got the fly over the south of Manhattan, head north and come back, which is sufficient to have a good overview of the island. My only critic would be that they don't allow people to take pictures with the helicopter before getting on board, the company is doing it for you (once in the helicopter you can take all the pictures you want with your personal device). Then you have to pay for the picture they took (on top of the ride itself), 50 DOLLARS FOR 2 PICTURES ON A USB STICK?!? seriously????? This is the most lucrative business ever...

"Much fun but also very expensive"

My wife gave this to me as a surprise as I never flew with a helicopter before and in general this is a great idea. Be aware that it is quite expensive though. On arrival you have to pay an extra 40 USD for tax on top of the price you already paid. No one has told my wife about that. A little notice up front would be nice. The tour is about 15 minutes long and goes pass the statue of liberty lower Manhattan up to central park and back. You get good views and it is a very good experience. I wouldn't do it twice and in my opinion it is nothing you should do just because you have time. Because of the price. Staff is friendly. Of course they try to sell you pictures of you and the helicopter afterwards. You can make your own pictures. You can take your mobile with you.

After much deliberation (10+ years of deciding whether to or not!), we took the plunge and booked a helicopter flight with Liberty Helicopters - what an amazing experience - the views are jaw-dropping from the skies, the pilots knowledge was second to none and the whole experience from start to finish was excellent. Would highly recommend!
