Sooo, we used it just once. We got really tired of waiting 1:30 for the bus. My advise: take Uber. It is cheap in Manhattan area and if we knew we would save $120. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. You will lose your time in NYC and money.

Booked online, reasonably simple process, however, tickets must be validated at GreyLine office.... long queue.... once validated... another long queue to get on a bus... The tour was very comprehensive, guide Manny, made it more interesting... good way to see lots of different parts of NYC.. Reasonably priced...

Never had an issue before. Booked online, found office to get tickets, jumped on bus. It was all ear phones this time and no guide talking on mic which I much prefer. Guides were unhelpful, pushy for tips and not friendly at all...again this was so strange as in past guides and even ticket guys have been great! Hop on hop off water taxi was good, sights fab and tour guide great. Buses were in past every 20/25 minutes. Not the case this time.

Do not take the bus! I would rent bikes, it's alot quicker and cheaper than the bus. You can also see my stuff if you use the bikes

"Good Package if you intend to see lots of Attractions"

I bought the Freestyle Pass which includes 3-day All Around Town Tour PLUS 7 attractions for $150, which worked out £118 in the UK, I bought this a week before I went to NY. I knew I wanted to see quite a few attractions: MOMA Natural History Museum MET Art Gallery Top of the Rock One World Trace Centre observation Intrepid Aircraft Carrier I priced up these before I bought the ticket and they came to more than the cost of the CitySights pass, so I bought the pass as it gave access to all these, + Hop on/off bus, I also went on the 2.5 hour New York Cruise, which was really good and would have cost $42 on it's own and probably wouldn't have done it without the 'spare' voucher. When you buy online, you get a voucher you take to the CitySights shop and they give you the individual tickets, they have a few sites, I went to the one near the bus station, so easy to get to. The three day bus pass is also handy, they have a few routes, so its a good way to see the City and Sights, I jumped on and off a few times, but most of the time I used the subway as it was more direct from site to site as the bus go's on a winding route and the traffic can be bad, so you could take 90-120 minutes between museums when the subway takes 15 minutes. I also went on the night time tour, it runs at 6pm for 2.5 hours, was really good seeing the city at dusk, they run daily, so well worth it and this is part of the 3 day pass, so does not use an attraction voucher. Some of the stops can be busy, but the bus came round every 15 minutes or so, one word of warning is that the buses stop running quite early, from 4pm to 6pm dependant on route, so be careful this fits in with your plans as things like Top of the Rock are best at night, so you cannot really use these buses for transport in the evening for getting around town for dinner etc. I Used all 7 vouchers, so for me it was good value, but you have to use all your vouchers to make the best of it, if you only plan to visit a few attractions, your probably best paying individually, a few of the sites have separate lines for vouchers, so can be abit quicker than queuing paying for cash. Also, consider some of the museums are 'pay what you want', the voucher said they paid $25 for MOMA/Galleries, so I was happy with that, as I would have paid similar, but you can just pay $1 for entry to them, not that I would have, but it does affect the value. Overall I recommend the voucher, as long as you are going to use them, price up the cost to visit each attraction individually before you travel.
