We rented 2 bicycles and one of them was ok and one was broken. The pedal in one of the cycles kept coming out after we crossed the middle of the bridge. We had to put up with it all through our ride which brought the fun down! The other cycle was ok thou not smooth. But the procedure to hire was bit easy. We went just before closure and he did not hesitate to rent us the bikes but hope the quality of the bikes were a little better.

"Brooklyn bridge walking tour with Wallace"

A great walk across from Manhattan to Brooklyn. Lots of interesting facts along the way. The tour provided great views back to Manhattan. Wallace was good that he told us where the photo opportunities were along the way and took us back to the subway station in Brooklyn to make our way back to Manhattan. Sometimes he seemed to struggle with the facts and figures but all good in the end.

"Very Impressive Structure"

It was very impressive walking on the Brooklyn Bridge. The views of Manhattan and Brooklyn were excellent. You could see the 911 Memorial very clearly. The only thing that was not good was that there were tons of bikers and they just whizzed past without much notice. They seemed to own the walking paths, so it made it difficult to walk freely.

"Beautiful iconic night time walk"

This is something great to do for visitors to New York and is well worth the 20-30 minute walk across from Brooklyn to Manhattan (City Hall) even with all the people on it. The views and photo opportunities are gorgeous at dawn and dusk but any time of the day will suffice. If you're going to do it, make sure you stop at Grimaldis walking over the bridge to Brooklyn or on the other side, south street seaport has some great eateries too. This is something that can be done both with and without a guide as there are plenty of self guided tours for this. If you'd like more information about the bridge and some colourful stories then Free Tours by Foot are a good option here.
